1. VinFast Evo: A Simple, Practical Electric Scooter for Everyday Use

After tasting success with Electric Cars VF6 and VF7 the Vietnamese EV manufacturer VinFast is preparing a strong entry into India’s electric two-wheeler space and the Evo scooter is expected to launch first. Positioned as an entry-level offering, the Evo focuses on what most Indian buyers actually need – reliability, ease of use and low running costs.

The design of the Evo is clean and It doesn’t try look futuristic. The flat floorboard, wide seat and upright riding position make it comfortable for daily commuting, whether you’re heading to the office or just running around the city. It’s also lightweight, which means it should be easy to handle in traffic and ease of parking in tight spaces. Performance-wise, the Evo is tuned for city riding. It is expected to come with a motor in the 2–3 kW range, delivering smooth acceleration rather than quick speed. The top speed is likely to be around 60–70 km/h, which is perfectly adequate for urban use. With efficient battery management and the possibility of dual-battery setups, the Evo could offer a real-world range of over 100 km and also what truly sets the Evo apart is VinFast’s battery-swapping ecosystem which saves time in charging & riders can swap a depleted battery for a fully charged one at dedicated stations.

2. VinFast Viper: A Stylish Upgrade for Young Urban Riders

The next scooter in VinFast’s lineup is the Viper, which is expected to target younger buyers looking for something more stylish and feature-rich EV. While it still retains the practicality of an everyday scooter, the Viper brings in a more premium feel with bold design elements and improved build quality.

Visually, the Viper is likely to stand out with sportier lines, sleeker LED lighting and a more dynamic stance. It feels like a scooter designed for those who want their ride to reflect their personality. The riding posture is expected to be comfortable, but with a slightly sportier feel.

Under the skin, the Viper could offer a slightly more powerful motor setup, improving both acceleration and overall riding experience. It is likely to deliver a top speed closer to 70–80 km/h and a range of around 110–130 km.

Feature-wise, the Viper is expected to come equipped with a fully digital instrument cluster, smartphone connectivity and navigation support.

3. VinFast Feliz: A Rugged and Versatile Electric Scooter

At the top of the lineup is the Feliz , which is expected to be the most robust and versatile of the three scooters. Designed to handle and please different people , the Feliz could be the ideal choice for riders who need a dependable scooter for both city and semi-urban use.

The design of the Feliz is gives it a stronger road presence and higher ground clearance. This makes it better suited for uneven roads, potholes and longer commutes. The seat is expected to be spacious and comfortable, making it practical for both solo riders and those who frequently carry a pillion.

Performance is where the Feliz is expected to stand out. It may feature a more refined and slightly more powerful motor compared to the other two scooters, ensuring better load-carrying ability and smoother performance over longer distances. The range could also be higher, potentially reaching up to 130–140 km on a single charge under ideal conditions. Safety and ride quality are likely to be key focus here and Feliz could come with better suspension setup, improved braking system and larger wheels for added stability

Vinfast Strategy for India

With the Evo, Vibe and Feliz, VinFast is clearly trying to cover a wide range of customers from EV cars to 2-wheelers. However, the competition in India is already intense in EV segment. Established players like Ola Electric, Ather Energy, TVS Motor Company and Bajaj Auto have built strong products and loyal customer bases.

Models such as the Ola S1, Ather 450X, TVS iQube and Bajaj Chetak are already popular choices among buyers in India. VinFast’s three-scooter strategy looks promising and if the company gets the pricing, service network and infrastructure right, the Evo, Viper and Feliz could become strong contenders in India’s rapidly growing electric scooter market.
